Step 1: Go to the website here. You will be greeted with the login screen (see Picture 1).

Step 2: Type in your username (your email address) and password. Then either hit the return key or click on the triangle to the right of your password.

Step 3: The next screen you will see the is the announcement page. On the left and side of the window click on School Forums (the sixth item down from Announcements) see Picture 2.

Step 4: You will now be in the School Forums section of the site. Select the Forum you are interested in viewing (Picture 3).

Step 5: The next screen is the topics that are available in each forum, see Picture 4.

Step 6: This will take you a window that shows you the conversation that is happening around this topic, see Picture 5.

Step 7: After reviewing all of the comments, you are probably ready to add your own. There are two ways to add comments, see Picture 6.

1) you can comment directly to the topic or
2) you can comment on someone else's comments

To add comments click on the larger contribute button (shaded in yellow) at the bottom of the page.
To comment on someone else's comment click on one of the smaller contribute buttons (shaded in green) that is on the bottom right corner of each comment.

Step 8: Either option will open the same Contribution window, see Picture 7.
a) The first step is to select a header. It defaults to none. You can select custom and type in your own, or select one of the 12 pre defined headers (they even come with their own pretty picture).
b) Optional - If you have audio or video files you will attach them here. Select the proper radio button, then click on the up arrow above upload.
c) Click on the white box below the red Text. Now you can start typing what you want to say.
d) Optional - If you want to upload picture(s) to go with your comment then select if you want the text above or below your text. The select if you want to upload a single image or a collection of images, then click on the up arrow above upload.
e) Optional - If you have other files (i.e. pdfs or Word documents) you want to attach then click on the up arrow above attach. Follow the direction to attach a file.
f) When you are done, scroll back up to the top of the window and click on the Submit (the green check) button (in the upper right hand corner of the window).
